The most treated causes of bad breath are plaque buildup from poor oral hygiene, periodontal disease/geographic tongue, diabetes and high blood pressure, even sinus infections. It can worsen by not flossing or getting routine cleanings, certain medications as well as excessive coffee intake and smoking.
Bad breath can be treatable as soon as it is noticed or even before it begins! Get routine cleanings as well as an evaluation on how best to care for oral hygiene. At home, brush and floss regularly. Remember to include brushing the tongue.
These are simple steps to fight that bad breath.
